Medical care

the_anchor_1kpx.jpg

All international students at Cambridge Leadership College will need to register with a doctors' surgery.

We recommend the Woodlands Surgery, located on Bateman Street. The surgery operates an emergency appointment service should a student become unwell during the working day.
If a student is taken ill during the working day an emergency appointment will be made for them, and where possible a member of staff will accompany them. Then a decision will be made regarding their care. If they are under 18 years old then the student’s Guardian may be contacted to collect them and take them to either their accommodation, or the Guardian’s home to recover.
Senior members of staff will liaise with the student’s Guardian regarding the well-being of the student. The Guardian will contact parents and ensure they are kept informed at all times.

Pastoral care

For many of our students this will be their first time living away from home.

We understand that this is a very exciting time and that there can also be some nerves too.
Our Vice Principal has nearly 10 years experience of pastoral care and recent experience of working with International students. Our pastoral team will personally meet with all students upon arrival to ensure they are settled and happy, they will also be available for students should they have any problems or worries during their time with us.
