Cambridge Leadership College community celebrates Graduation 2018

Students and their families joined staff at Cambridge Leadership College to celebrate Graduation on Tuesday night.

The evening’s celebrations were opened by our Principal, Tom Cassidy, who welcomed graduates and their families and remarked upon how lucky we have been to be a part of their stories.

Zubair Junjunia was also welcomed as the first Honorary Graduate of Cambridge Leadership College. Zubair, founder of ZNotes.org has spent time getting to know each of the students during the times he has spent collaborating with us on various other projects. He commented on how the students are already making changes in the world through their actions.

“They have learnt and applied efficient learning techniques, gained a plethora of knowledge from business leaders and truly embodied the spirit of CLC – you choose – because they have chosen what, when and how they want to learn. They are the leaders of their own education and with that, they are well on their way of becoming the next world leaders, the people who are going to bring a change to this world.”

Zubair highlighted some specific examples of how he had seen each student take action to be the change they want to see in the world.

The graduates were presented with their graduation certificates by a member of the Cambridge Leadership College team who spoke about each of them in turn.

They will be going on to take up university places or complete their US High School education. Each of them have made significant contributions to the CLC community and been on their own personal development journeys.

They will all become a part of the Cambridge Leadership College alumni which will continue to be a part of the college community through mentoring programmes, workshops and guest speaker events.

We are thrilled to have had the opportunity to celebrate the great individuals they have become and we are excited to see what happens next for them.
